Electric Bus Project In Gujarat

TheGovernment Of Gujarat will introduce a pilot project to run ‘Electric Buses’ for public transportation between state capital Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad. The project’s main aim is to assure more clean and eco – friendly environment. Narendra Modi had announced a ‘climate change department’ in the country. In the initial phase the state government are going to introduce around 15-20 buses on trial bases.

The Electric Bus project may be announced by the end of this year. These bus ducts may be designed specifically as per requirement. If the project gets success, it could be started in other states of India. This Electric Bus Project involves installation of solar–power based electric – charging stations at regular distances on the over 35 km long stretch between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.

Theofficials of Electric Bus Project are thinking to buy 15-40 seater mini buses for the purpose of city transportation in Gandhinagar. The selection of Electric buses are done based on their longer serving life simple and easy set-up, minimum maintenance and also high electrical conductivity. The ‘green – project’ of the state government would be require for deploying, monitoring and commissioning the electric vehicles transport system technique depending on  solar powered energy for six months from the date of starting.
The project's main purpose is to minimize the carbon emission and to keep environment clean by using electricity. Good Transportation is extremely important throughout the world. People have to go to school, home, office and also go for shopping on daily basis. Air pollution is the major issue in the cities and it causes many health problems. For the same reason cities are been going for environment friendly transportation system.

Bullet Train Proposed Between Ahmedabad and Mumbai.

TheBullet train project between Ahmedabad and Mumbai will be probably executed by Public - Private Partnership with Maharashtra and Gujarat as stakeholders. The bullet rail project is going to be major challenge as apart from engineering challenges. The Bullet Train may take approximately 2 hours to travel 534 km long distance. The high speed train may have capability to run at a maximum speed of 320 KMPH. Bullet train may stop at every 50-100 km as a part of the 534 km long corridor. There are total 11 stations of which 4 in Gujarat and 7 are in Maharashtra. The Ahmedabad corridor will terminate near Sabarmati in Ahmedabad.

Bullet Trains are extremely important to the railway development. Officials will do feasibility study                 and also examine other factors such as land acquisition and building bridges and tunnels where necessary. They will also assess environmental challenges, if any while building the route. The total estimated project cost is Rs. 63,000 crore. The estimated cost per kilometre for the high speed corridor is Rs. 125 crore.

Thehigh speed train which use steel wheels on steel track is designed to travel at more than 320 KMPH. The coaches used in the high speed bullet train will be aerodynamic and it will be supplied by Linke Hofmann Busch in Germany. While there is no information about exact number of coaches per rake available, the approximately figure is around 12, which can carry about 800 travellers. The proposed Mumbai–Ahmedabad route is mainly going to benefit Gujarat because the route covers three of its prime cities – Surat, Vadodara and Ahmedabad. No other Maharashtra’s major city will get benefit of this except Mumbai.

Bullettrain between Ahmedabad and Mumbai will have Wi-Fi facilities for passengers. Travellers can book their food in advance, through Email or SMS. The food will be probably offered by reputed chains, which will have a tie-up with the railways. The seating arrangement will be chair- car setup to increase more capacity for more passengers.

Minimum stopping for traffic, aerodynamic and long curves light trains also permit today’s high speed trains to travel at much faster speed. New innovative technologies applied in train signalling system can easily allow high–speed trains to safely reduce valuable time between train stations and therefore making it lot more efficient.

Chenab Railway

The Chenab rail bridge is going to be the highest in the world. The Chenab Bridge is an arch bridge under construction in India. Chenab Rail Bridge is 35 meters taller when compared with Eiffel Tower of France and five times the highest of Qutub Minar at 359 meter above river bed, will connect Baramulla and Srinagar to Jammu via Udhampur. Katra- Quzigund covering the entire route in about seven hours.

The Chenab rail bridge total length will be 1315 meters. Bridge may use more than 25,000 tons of steel. The Railway have developed a helipad to move construction materials and equipment. For the 73 km passage which consist of construction of 63 km tunnels and also 7.5 km of bridges, Konkan railways is constructing 176 km of roadways to gain access to the project sites. Railways is made of already constructed 104 km of roads that is giving connectivity to remote villages which  were till now inaccessible. The estimated cost of a project is $92 million.

Thinking about the inaccessible terrain of the HimalayanMountains the bridge will get a special coat of paint with a life period of around 35 years to protect it from the tough weather conditions. The railways has designed the alerting system at the bridge which will measure wind speed at the bridge site, and will interlock train movement over the bridge automatically if there is any wind flow above  the prescribed speed.

Konkan Railway Corporation, with working experience of building 179 largest bridges on the path breaking rail link with the Konkan region, are going to execute this specific section. Trains can be cruise at 100 kmph on the structure, which would like to have a lifespan of 120 years. Bridge would comprise an “arch- shaped” steel structure spanning 467 meter from one side of the river to the other, the reminder of the bridge across two mountains will span 1.3 km.

The Bridge will link up Baramulla to Jammu with travel time of six and a half hours, almost half the time it presently takes. As per project engineers, the main arch is being built using two cable cranes connected on both sides of the river that can be secured on enormous steel pylons.  The Construction involves the use of concrete filled trusses. This feature is to be used the very first time in India. Concrete filled trusses have an impact on increasing stability of the arch as a steel arch is comparatively light faces stability problems against wind.

Architecture Engineering of Taj Mahal

Architectural Engineering is engineers who deal in the designing and construction for all different kinds of buildings. The practice of architecture includes the planning, designing and overseeing the building's construction.
We have come through a lot of Architect Buildings designed and constructed the most popular is the Taj Mahal which is also listed in the 7 wonders of world. The Taj Mahal is India’s most famous structure, perhaps the most beautiful piece of architecture in the world.  Taj Mahal is based in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India.  Taj Mahal is a white marble mausoleum. It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memorial of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal.  Taj Mahal is the finest example of Mughal architecture, a method that is slight blend of elements from Persian, Indian and Turkish Architecture.

Taj Mahal covers the area of 42 acres in total with the land gradually sloping from south to north towards the river Yamuna. The height of the Taj Mahal is 171 metres (561 feet). The large main tomb in white marble structure stands on a square platform which is raised 50meter above the river bank. There are minarets at each corner of square which is 137feet; the beautiful and spherical dome is 58feet in diameter and 81feet in height.

Construction of Taj Mahal started in year 1631 and it took 22 years to build where 20000 people  including masons, stonecutters, carvers, painters, inlayers, dome-builders, calligraphers and others worked day and night to construct this historical monument. More than 1,000 elephants were employed to transport the construction materials used to build the Taj. The Taj Mahal is surrounded by significant gardens, at west side of the tomb there is mosque and at east side of tomb there is Naqqar Khana which means a guest house. The mosque and the guest house are built in red sandstone and it uses the principles of self-replicating geometry and symmetry of architectural elements.

To construct this architectural wonder, they zealously synchronized all the ideas, suggestions and projects presented by various skilled artists; they were Persian, Indian and Turkish. The masterminds proposed and put up the cautious and correct amalgamation of innumerable designs and opinions to construct such an architectural balance and magnificence.
